Let me preface this post with a disclaimer: I have always, and will always, love Hanson. I saw them in concert with by mom (henceforth Kim) and best friends when I was eight and still have vivid memories of Zach’s glow in the dark drumsticks - they continue to melt my heart to this day.

A little less than a year ago, Brittney walked in on me watching this Hanson video…alone. It quickly ceased to be embarassing, though, when we realized that grown-up Hanson is more awesome than ten-years-ago Hanson (I, personally, didn’t think it was possible). The brothers, Isaac, Taylor, and Zach, now 29, 26, and 24, have finally grown up enough to sound like men while singing…and they look more like men now, too. Updated haircuts, trendy style, and even better vocals can now appeal to the masses, instead of only dedicated fans. They have also gotten involved with TOMS shoes, one of our favorite companies, to bring children in third-world countries shoes to prevent “podo” - a deadly disease that lives in dirt and mud and could be prevented by wearing shoes.
Hanson is going to be playing at the Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, Maryland alongside All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Forever the Sickest Kids, and others as part of the Bamboozle Road Tour on Friday, May 21.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here.
